Economy of Kazakhstan: modern condition, problems and ways of solution

The article discusses the current state and problems of the development of the oil industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Analyzed the impact of the global crisis and a sharp decline in oil prices on the economic development of the country. The author considers the significance and main directions of diversification of the economy of Kazakhstan. The basic vectors of the oil industry development on an innovation basis are determined.
