Health economics: physical education as an investment in human capital

The primary goal of this paper is to review physical education not as an expense in human capital, but as a potential global investment. From an economic perspective, the relationship between regular physical activity, increased labor productivity, and the reduction of economic losses associated with illness and disability is examined. Based on an analysis of empirical data and a systems approach, it is demonstrated that investments in physical education infrastructure have a significant positive impact and are a key factor in ensuring positive economic growth and social well-being.
