“Knowledge economy” - the basis for innovation development of modern society

The article analyses the issue of the “knowledge economy” development, its role in the formation of “knowledge society”, which is a new innovation stage of society development. This stage is characterized by qualitative changes in the productive forces, productive relations, and in the formation of the human capital theory.
