Economic and sociological research of stock markets in China and Russia: theoretical and methodological foundations

Today, stock markets are one of the most interesting and insufficiently researched areas of modern economic sociology in China and Russia. The globalization of finance has made relations between stock markets of different countries interdependent, so that financial processes taking place in some countries inevitably have an impact on other countries. However, for a long time, the stock market, being an important component of the country's financial industry, has not acted as an independent object of research for economic sociology in China, but has been studied only within the framework of economic science. The paper aims to analyze the theoretical and methodological foundations of sociological research on stock markets in Russia and China, as well as to explore the possibility of a comprehensive sociological analysis of the main factors influencing the development of stock markets in both countries.
