Economic and technological aspects of production of animal and poultry products

Improving the efficiency of animal husbandry is a major economic problem, the solution of which determines the growth of living standards of the population of the region, its food security. Ensuring sustainable development of livestock and poultry farming is directly dependent on the introduction of modern resource-saving technologies into the production. In the Oryol region, in recent years, environmental and resource-saving technologies have been widely introduced in animal husbandry and poultry farming in dairy and specialized meat cattle breeding, as well as in meat poultry farming. The purpose of the research was to study the effectiveness of modern technologies for the production of livestock products for their further improvement and wide testing in the farms of the region. The organization of pasture resource-saving technology for beef cattle breeding, as well as the feeding of specialized beef cattle on modern feedlots can be promising for the farms of the region. On the example of the farm "50 Years of October" of the Livensky District, high-performance outdoor breeding technology for keeping cows on a deep non-replaceable bedding was established. It was revealed that loose-box housing of cows is the most effective technology that allows to obtain high-quality milk. High economic efficiency of milk production with the use of this technology was achieved at "Slavyanskoe", "Kartofelnaya Niva Orlovshchiny". It has been established that the internal reserves of the most common milk production technology with tie-up housing of cows are far from exhausted. This is evidenced by the fairly high production and economic indicators of dairy farming in "Kurakinskoe", "Orlovskoe". For the first time in the region, a resource-saving technology for broiler outdoor growing using modern, computerized equipment “Big Dachman” was applied at the poultry meat production plant "Orlovskaya Niva". This allowed us to achieve a high level of production and economic indicators. The methodological approaches to assessing the economic efficiency of technological innovations in broiler poultry farming are presented.
