Ecosystem transformation of local consumer markets

The article presents a list of transformational changes in local consumer markets in the context of digitalization. The sources (digitalization as an innovation process, changing the role of local markets to the level of "locomotives" of regional and national economy) and accompanying factors (competitive advantages of inclined business models in economic ecosystems) of transformational processes are described. It is concluded that innovative approaches to the methodology of assessing the real role of participants in local consumer markets in economic ecosystems are needed to assess and introduce realism into the planning of the life of economic entities.
