In the modern media space, the risk of destructive content consumption is especially high. Researchers agree that today it is necessary to develop the theoretical and practical areas of information ecology. The article studies the phenomenon of ecotext, considered in the context of children's media consumption. Given the rapid spread of anti-vital content via mass communication channels and the growing levels of cyberbullying and provocative information noise, one of the priority tasks is to protect the younger generation from the aggressive media environment, this making the chosen research topic relevant. In the paper, ecotext, or ecocontent, is understood to mean a media ecology product that meets the criteria of information culture. Ecolinguistic approaches are becoming more and more in demand in the analysis of the conflictogenicity level of journalistic materials, including radio ones. Using the methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, the authors come to the conclusion that professional radio text, as a type of safe, ecological media text, has a number of advantages from the point of view of children's perception. The study presents the criteria of an ecological children's radio text and from this perspective explores the experience of radio stations in France, Great Britain, and Poland in creating educational programs for minors. It is concluded that the radio projects included in the empirical base meet the principles of media ecology — they are aimed at communicating universal human values, humanistic ideals, implement educational and culture-forming functions, and are an effective means of forming moral and ethical guidelines in children's and youth audiences.
