The screen type of the cultural code as a semiotic feature of the modern stage of socio-cultural transformation: cultural philosophical analysis

The article distinguishes the features of the screen type of cultural code, which replaced the literary one. The author analyses such characteristics of the screen type of cultural code as internationality, decentralization and uniformity of the cultural space. It has been found that as a result of establishment of the screen type of cultural code, the following features of the IV socio-cultural transformation were formed in the continuum of the European culture: pluralism, eclecticism, discontinuity with the previous cultural tradition. Based on the undertaken cultural philosophical analysis, it is concluded that the screen type of cultural code is a semi-otic feature of the postmodern culture.
