In the development of ventral hernias is crucial violation of collagen metabolism, namely the change in the ratio of collagen types. Maturation of connective tissue at the site may be accelerated plastics drugs "Orotate potassium” and "Ascorbic acid” having stimulating collagen effect. This is of particular interest to improve the processes of the organization of the connective tissue in the area of the implant for the treatment of patients with ventral hernias. The experimental study was performed on 146 individuals of white mice, which were divided into 3 groups, depending on the fact that use of the drug. The animals in group 2 was added to the diet drug "Orotate potassium” at the rate of 0.5 mg per animal per day; animals of group 3 were added to the feed rate of ascorbic acid, 0.2 ml per animal per day. Animals were removed from the experiment on the 7, 10, 30, 60, and 90 hours by means of polarization microscopy assessed maturity paraprotesis capsule. As a result of the research, we revealed the stimulating effect of potassium orotate and ascorbic acid on collagen synthesis after prosthesis implantation. By the 90 th day the ratio of collagen type I to type III against the background of the use of ascorbic acid was 3.76, in 1.62 times more than in the 1st group of animals. In case of using potassium orotate this ratio was 3.44, which was significantly greater (p
