Proposed three-mode control for engine-transmission unit to improve traction-speed properties and reduce fuel consumption for vehicle. Evaluating the effectiveness of three-mode control carried out experimentally by the authors' methodic. Introduced the concept of three-mode control. The results are perspective for the development of three-mode electronics control systems in vehicles.
