This article is devoted to the experimental validation of the use of simply supported beam (smooth beam mounted on two hinged supports) that all reference sources are recommended to use as a design scheme in the calculation of shafts for static strength and endurance, as well as calculating bearings for durability. The need to test arose in connection with the revealed new theory that in the conditions of real loading the simply supported beam is not implemented, and is implemented the chain of statically indeterminate settlement schemes "incorporation of additional pivot bearing", "double-fitting" "two dual hinged support" [1], [2] and others. Experimental test of shaft, mounted on the radial ball single-row bearings according to the «cross located» arrangement fully confirmed this assumption.
