Experimental work of the committee on mediumistic phenomena headed by D.I. Mendeleev in 1875-1876

The article analyses activities of the Committee on Mediumistic Phenomena headed by D.I. Mendeleev in the context of studying the phenomenon of spiritualism in 1875-1876. The author describes in detail a number of practical experiments, which were at the core of the Committee's work and formed the basis of D. Mendeleev and his colleagues' opinion on the matter of spiritualism.
