The results of experimental and theoretical studies of the strength of masonry elements after prolonged exposure to two types of acidic environments to the accumulation of experimental data, as well as experimental data the influence of acidic environments on the carrying capacity of the brick pillars. Tests on short-term impact burden centrally compressed brick elements, due to prolonged exposure to acid solutions, showed the features of their deformation, crack formation and destruction.

Chemical corrosion, strength, deformability, phenomenological model, centrically compressed elements, statistical dependence, compression diagram, brickwork
