An experimental study to study the features of the development of visual attention in older preschool children with general speech underdevelopment

The article states that to overcome speech development disorders in preschool children, a system of speech therapy kindergartens has been created in the Russian Federation. The main specialist of a speech therapy kindergarten is a speech therapist who corrects speech disorders in a child and, together with educators, prepares for school. Traditionally, a speech therapist works with a child's speech disorders. Attention is one of the essential psychological processes, the level of development of which determines the assessment of the cognitive development of the child, his success in further activities. Many problems that arise in children are directly related to the developmental deficits of attention. They can be eliminated if the individual characteristics of the child's attention and the level of his development at which he is at a given moment are known in advance.
