Experimental study of the impact of implants with coatings based on superhard compounds on morphological parameters of blood in experimental animals

A comparative study of the effect of various implants on morphological parameters of blood was conducted. The results show that the implants made of copper and implants made of stainless steel coated with zirconium cause adverse impact on blood indices. Thus, in the groups where the implants made of copper (Cu) and medical steel with a coating of zirconium (TiN + ZrN) were used, a pronounced polycythemia and expressed eosinopenia were observed. Leukocytosis and lymphocytosis were observed in groups TiN + ZrN, while the values of these parameters were decreased in the group of Cu. In the other groups with implants made of steel 12X18H9T and steel coated with hafnium nitrides TiN + NHf the hematological parameters mentioned above were within the physiological range. Neutrophils of all orders remained unchanged regardless of the implanted material.
