Experimental studying the impact of radio-frequency range electromagnetic fields on the functional state of reproductive system

Бесплатный доступ

In pilot subsharp research (1 month) studied on rats males the biological effect, including action on reproductive function, from electromagnetic field of radio-frequency range (EMF RF) at frequency of 1890 MHz at the energy stream density (ESD) of electromagnetic field 500 mcW/sм 2 и 250 mcW/sm 2. The obtained data testify to possible negative influence of EMF RF on organism of animals. Level of exposition at 500 mcW/sм 2 caused oppression of activity of central nervous system (CNS) (on indicators of approximate and research activity in "open field") and possible metabolic disorder, and also had gonadotropic effect (reduction of relative mass of testis, reduction of spermatozoa quantity, decrease in osmotic firmness of spermatozoa) during subsharp experiment. At the level of exposition twice smaller (500 mcW/sм 2) change of reproductive function of rats males was noted both during radiation, and in the recovery period.
