This paper presents data on the composition of organic matter in Upper Jurassic of the East European platform, obtained during hydrous pyrolysis at 250, 275, 300 and 325 oC. The results show the achievement of thermal maturity stage of MK 1–MK 2. The structure of kerogen with increasing temperature hydrothermal experiment is undergoing significant changes, expressed in loss of n-alkyl chains, breaking ether bonds, and the transformation of the structure of the aromatic component of the geopolymer.
