Experimental tasks and assignments: concepts and classifications

Different approaches to classifications of experimental tasks and assignments are reviewed. The author's classification based on the time the tasks and assignments are used in the process of education and on the connection with items of Physics course is presented. The concepts «experimental task» and «experimental assignment» are defined.
