The article analyzes the quality of non-food products on the example of various types of ceramic dishes. The indicators of hardness, water absorption, water resistance of various types of ceramics are considered. The results of studies on the determination of defects in the samples under study are presented. On the basis of the conducted research, practical recommendations were made.
