Expert and social-hygienic estimation of unviolent death structure in Novosibirsk for the period from 1985 to 2005

Death rate is major index of public health of population. For development of effective strategy and tactic of providing population by medical aid, knowledge of structure of unviolent death is needed. We performed the analysis of structure of unviolent death in Novosibirsk for the period of 1985-2005. Maximum percent -age of unviolent death was revealed to be in the period of 1994 and of 2004. Death rate from cardiovascular diseases decreased. Death rate from infectious diseases increased by 2 times. Analysis results of dying from unviolent death revealed that 27% of deaths in cardiovascular diseases group had alcoholic intoxication of different stage.
