Explication of assessment methods of medical components of adaptation of children with intellectual disabilities at adapted physical education classes

The article presents the results of the study conducted to define the importance, ease, quickness and efficiency of various diagnostic testing and screening procedures for assessment of adaptive functioning of children with intellectual disabilities in the process of adapted physical education. A diagnostic system aimed at the implementation of the informative value and the use of different techniques, its rapid practical application is described. The importance of the authors’ programs of adapted physical education for people with intellectual disabilities is highlighted.
