This research discusses the phenomenon of subjectivity as a crucial one for philosophical discourse in general; its disclosure determines the theoretical ideas and worldview attitudes of a particular era. Thus, the identification of subjectivity with thinking, the depreciation of the personality and individual beginning are typical for the classical philosophical paradigm characterized by the universalist reduction and postulating the objectivity of knowledge. This led to the elimination of the internal experience of the individual and criticism of this approach in the post-classical discourse. Rationalism, which was based on a firm foundation of sustainability and confined to the consideration of the prior forms of human consciousness, presented only a one-way idea of a man that was neutral with regard to his individual spiritual components. Nowadays, post-classical philosophy departs from the unity of subjectivity and is aimed at the deliverance of a man from the simplistic vision of the world and himself by disclosing his own existential nature and including him in the ethical and meaningful continuum of modern communication. Subjectivity in its concreteness and certainty is a human dimension needed to assess the real situation and develop the value-based approach to reality.
