Explication of the sound picture of the world of Russian people in multilingual environment

The present article is devoted to peculiarities of explication of the sound picture of the world of Russians in multilingual environment. The onomatopoeic units in speech of Russians living on the territory of former Komi-Permyak district are analysed. Close interaction of two peoples and languages has had an influence on the onomatopoeic system of Russian dialectal speech and the sound picture of the world. The nature of borrowings and the peculiarities of onomatops functioning (on the one hand, a great number of Komi-Permyak borrowings are found in speech of Russians, on the other hand, some onomatops function simultaneously in both languages) are conditioned by the onomatopoeic system universality, which is, in its turn, based on the existence of a sound dominant. The universal nature of the onomatopoeic system also finds its reflection in the model of the sound picture of the world with a man in the centre of it and all the rest sound environments (soundings of plants, of inanimate nature, technical, signal, musical sounds) - on the periphery.
