A change in value orientations and worldview in general, as a rule, entails the emergence of new socio-cultural formations, which include various subcultures that outwardly differ from each other and from the culture of the majority by attributes and leisure preferences. Any subculture, according to D. Riesman and D. Hebdige, builds its ideological base on the denial of certain beliefs of the majority, while the external specificity of subcultures serves as evidence of this difference. That is, the essence of any subculture is a certain statement that differs from the beliefs of the majority. Modern culture, characterized by visual redundancy, has given rise to the phenomenon of expoculture, the essence of which, according to the author, is the exposure of some visual information without an explicit author's statement, on the basis of which it would be possible to build an ideological base of subculture. Independent interpretation of expoculture examples (photos, videos) generates a belief in the truth of their own interpretation and is often attributed to the author, thereby making expoculture in demand.
