Export of agricultural products - new perspectives for Russian agricultural business

Export potential of the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation, as well as problems between the participants of agricultural business are the key factors that underlie this research. High demand for food supplies defines the necessity to tackle the problems as they appear during the process of export of agricultural products. The main objective of this article is to analyse the current conditions and to establish key problems in promoting Russian agricultural products to exterior markets. The methodological basis for this research is systematization and comparative analysis of resource provision and mechanisms of state support, that provide the formation of major export trends within the Russian agricultural business. The main approach in this research is system analysis that reveals agricultural export as a whole complex of interconnected elements, which provide necessary levels of state support for export-oriented agricultural business. The key promotion problems of Russian exporters are indicated. The major directions for the improvement of state support are specified. The limiting factors that determine the main tasks of the agricultural industry, and thereby minimize the impact of negative factors on the growth of exports of the agricultural industry are revealed. The system of export support is presented, the key component of which is an adequate regional policy, which should provide the creation of new integration links. The materials of the article are practically valuable for the formation of an adequate state export policy and providing the growth of agricultural exports produced by agricultural business entities in the Russian Federation to foreign markets, as well as in forecasting and planning the development of export-oriented agricultural business entities.
