Exposition "History of cultivated plants of Russia" at the laboratory of cultivated plants of the Main botanical garden n.a. N.V. Tsitsin of the Academy of Sciences

The exposition "History of cultivated plants of Russia" was formed in 1960 on the six plots 0,6 ha total area in the Main Botanical Garden n.a. N.V. Tsitsin of the Academy of Sciences to demonstrate the history of domestic plant growing on live plants. The plants introduction process has been demonstrated based on six historical periods since ancient times up to this day. The peculiarity of this exposition is that about half of the collection are annual plants that require annual sowing.
