Experience of the use of POSSUM scale for prognostic assessment of outcomes of surgical treatment of patients with unilateral occlusive lesion of the iliac arteries has been presented. The conclusion has been drawn about the feasibility and ease of use of the rating scale and its applicability in the vascular surgical departments. The choice of cross-femoral-femoral bypass surgery in patients with high anesthetic and operative risk has been justified.
