Extreme architecture in safety and protection in design

Humans have no natural protection from emergency situations and dangerous environmental conditions. In extreme conditions disrupted the usual regime of work and rest man. Lately people are increasingly confronted with such situations in a comfortable and safe living conditions border on extreme. Currently, more than 2/3 of the population live in adverse conditions that do not meet hygienic standards; more than 50 million people are exposed to harmful substances exceeding maximum permissible concentration by 10 times. Today the relevant aspects of security and protection, the restructuring of the dull, bleak-standardized environment that contributes to pessimism and depression. As a result, the architecture acquires extreme shade. To ensure the sustainable development of urban territories taking into account extreme conditions it is necessary rational development of new ecological niches of living space; the transition from extensive to intensive development of territories on the basis of fulfilling the potential of upgrading; urban renewal; the formation of new types of energy-efficient, ecological apartments and houses. Requires special architectural activities in providing special security requirements and acceptable livelihoods, which are discussed in this article.
