Electromagnetic effects during formation of mid-latitude sporadic layers

The paper concerns the possibility of formation of sporadic layers in the ionospheric dynamo region through the formation of thin layers with the heavy plasma pressure gradient balancing the Ampиre force. Observations that reinforce validity of this approach are presented
