Electronic portfolio as an authentic technology for assessing the competencies of future teachers in the context of organizing competitions of pedagogical projects

The need to create a portfolio of students as one of the technologies for authentic assessment of the competences of future educators is discussed. The assumption of rational integration of students’ portfolio into the electronic environment is put forward. It is stated that the creation of an electronic portfolio is an effective mechanism for achieving educational goals, since it allows students to perform complex competence assignments through participation in virtual scientic and practical competitions. It is noted that the traditional portfolio of students, dened by type as information, is the least promising in the professional education of future teachers in comparison with the electronic (process) portfolio, which is an opportunity to track the dynamics of students’ competencies improvement at different stages of the educational process, in the activities provided by the Federal State Educational Standards of higher education
