The electronic government in the politics and political science

The present article is devoted to the concept analysis of "the electronic government" in policy discourses and political science. The factors causing disagreements in a treatment of given concept are revealed. The basic approaches to it (technocratic, universalist and institutional) are designated. The heuristic value of the given approaches is defined.
