Electronic archive as a tool records management and archival

In the modern world, it is not possible to imagine the activities of any organization outside the field of information technology. The volumes of documentation created, processed and stored in organizations can sometimes not be measured. This article is devoted to the consideration of the substantive components of an automated information system, an electronic product that implements the functions of an archive of a modern organization. It has been established that the electronic archive as a multi-component system for storing and managing documents is the most representative and efficient tool that implements work with document management. From a practical point of view, the use of electronic archives in the workflow of organizations of any type at the present stage of development is undeniable. However, the issue of introducing and operating electronic archives as a tool for the work of only the archival departments of organizations is the subject of scientific discussions. At the same time, despite the number of organizational problems identified in the article, it can be argued that the electronic archive is a multifunctional product that allows you to perform diverse work with almost any array of documents, allowing you to almost completely automate the organization’s workflow, significantly reducing time costs for processing, transferring documents and ensuring their security.
