Electronic frontier as an environment of business and government relations

The article deals with the issues of social relations in cyberspace through the metaphor of frontier. The authors postulate a proposal to consider the processes of electronic transformation from the point of view of the frontier theory, compare the features and stages of the development of the historical frontiers of the USA and Russia and the course of the development of the electronic (network) frontier in the USA and Russia. The paper proposes to turn to the experience of developing historical frontiers in the USA and Russia in order to formulate new approaches to the development of cyberspace.
