The elements of the political process in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic

The rise in political processes, development of democracy and state institutions, the degree of socio-economic success has got a great significance for Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. First of all, the more successfully the political, social and economic problems are solved, the more difficult it is to put into effect the military force scenarios of the solution of Transnistrian issue, the less painful are the consequences of external pressure and blockades for the economy and society of Transnistria. From a historical perspective the level of political development, political socialization and political participation in Transnistria becomes no less important than military and international components of the policy. At a certain stage of political development the internal legitimacy of the unrecognized state may appear to be more important than the international recognition.
