Elements of training work with schoolchildren in the educational process

One of the most important problems of modern educational process is the transition from traditional to innovative teaching methods and to the use of elements of training work in teaching the younger generation. The article substantiates the relevance of this issue and the importance of the work of psychologist in this regard. The authors consider several theoretical approaches to the definition of “training”. They provide a classification of the types of the elements of training and their tasks. The article shows that a significant role in the development of schoolchildren belongs to non-conventional methods of educational activities.The use of the elements of training in the education of students is shown on the example of the Research-and-Education Center under the Institute of Socio-Economic Development of Territories of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The article describes the forms of work that include role plays and business games, discussions, team work, project activities, practical exercises, etc. This diversity contributes to the formation of a competitive, creative personality with developed competences. The authors conclude that the Research-and-Education Center under the Institute of Socio-Economic Development of Territories of the Russian Academy of Sciences has developed a productive system of work with schoolchildren.
