The author makes the conclusion that the higher emotional intelligence level of a law enforcement agency chief is and the wider his behaviour repertoire is, the less its dependence on impulsive actions is. High intelligence level makes it possible to employ constructive, productive and positive behaviour patterns under stress conditions.
