Emotional disturbances in acute episode of ixodic tick-borne borreliosis were observed in 63 (74,12 %) of patients. The anxiety and emotional instability were dependent on onset of disease, what we can't say about the decreased mood that is not always associated only with this inflectional disease. Mostly, the emotional disturbances were represented by anxiety 38 (44,71 %). The decreased mood (hypothymia) and emotional lability occurred a little bit rarely - 24 (28,24 %) and 23 (27,06 %) respectively. The influence of emotional background on indices of humoral response in acute episode of ixodic tick-borne borreliosis was also observed in our study
Ixodic tick-borne borreliosis, depressive syndrome, organic mood disorders
