Emotional intelligence and features of psychological state as factors of students’ academic performance

Emotional intelligence and psychological state of students are considered as factors of their academic performance. Features of emotional intelligence are discussed. The results of a psychodiagnostic study of the influence of emotional intelligence and psychological state of students of the "Nursing" direction on their educational achievements are presented. A positive correlation between emotional intelligence and academic performance is shown. Recommendations for taking into account the results of the study in the course of psychological and pedagogical support of students ' education are offered
