Endocrine disorders as a risk factor for the development of dental diseases

The article is devoted to the study of the features of endocrine disorders as a risk factor for the development of dental diseases. The author analyzes the main diseases of the endocrine system, provides research results and statistical data on the impact of these diseases on oral health. Special attention is paid to the relationship of hormonal changes in the body to the risk of developing caries and dry mouth syndrome. The author concludes that understanding this relationship is an important step in the process of diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of patients, which will not only improve overall health, but also preserve the health of teeth and gums.
