"Compomed" - a total endoprosthesis of the hip

This work presents the data of working out a cement-free endoprosthesis produced by closed joint-stock company, scientific-and-production enterprise "Compomed", and the general conception of the endoprosthesis has been created together with the Priorov CNIITO. The authors studied the peculiarities of different titanium alloys, super high-molecular polyethylene, they tested the products under simulation conditions. New technologies were worked out for endoprostheses production. "Compomed" endoprosthesis use for 10 years demonstrated its reliability, the possibility of its price reducing in case of the financing opening for incompleted technological developments.
