Introduction: The treatment of craniopharyngiomas is challenging due to their anatomical location. The extended endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal surgery (EEETS) is indicated for sellar, suprasellar, and some intraventricular tumors in adults and pediatric patients. Case presentation: A 51-year-old male with visual disturbances was admitted to our hospital. Preoperative computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated mainly a solid mass in the suprasellar region. The patient underwent EEETS. The patient’s postoperative course was uneventful. Histopathological diagnosis demonstrated adamantomatous craniopharyngioma. Postoperative CT, MRI with and without contrast enhancement demonstrated total removal of the tumour.
