Any event in objective reality arises and takes place because of energy that provokes it and continues until the potential of the available energy is exhausted. When the energy is used up, the event stops, passes into the stage of rest (or entropic chaos). Consequently, the duration of an event, its time, is determined by the potential of energy that serves as the source and “fuel” of the movement. Thus, we can assert that energy – the energy resource involved in the event – is the nature of time. The soul and the body live in different temporal dimensions. The body spends a lot of energy, so its time passes quickly. The soul that “dwells” in connection with the body (but not necessarily within the body) spends much less energy received from the body (and from the ether), so the time of the soul flows more slowly. This is the basis for the phenomenon of age self-identity inconsistency, when it seems to a person with age that they are younger than they actually are. Time is ambivalent, since energy “flows” in two “directions”: 1) the “arrow of time”, the entropic spending of physical energy from the received, accumulated potential to chaos; 2) the creative bioenergy of the organization of life, the increasingly complex ordering of the world according to the spiral of the “golden section” is oriented in the opposite direction. Therefore, time is reversible.
