The paper deals with the interaction of the detonation products of powder particles sprayed during explosive spraying wear-resistant coatings on metals and alloys. The quality of the applied coating depends on the energy of the powder particles and their state of aggregation. Calculated by numerical methods the amount of heat produced in this interaction particles. Analyzes the possibility of melting of powder particles during their movement in the front of the detonation wave rarefaction and chemical reactions of the material particles with the detonation products of explosives.
