Epidemiology of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in the valley and medical and environmental scientific bases of primary prevention

The article is devoted to the assessment of the prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (ChOPD) in the Ferghana Valley. The reasons affecting the prevalence of the disease are highlighted. The factors that can distort the results of population studies at any stage are described.
