Epidemiology of anxious-depressive disorders among adult population of a big industrial city of the East Siberia

Objective of our work is to form a correct estimate of anxious-depressive disorders (ADD) prevalence among adult population in Krasnoyarsk. We have analyzed ADD considering a social status (work type (intellectual work or physical work), education level), a sex and arterial hypertension indices of persons included into the study. Smoking as a significant risk factor of cardiovascular diseases was also considered. A great prevalence of ADD among unorganized adult population causes the necessity of ADD screening in medical institutions.
