Статья посвящена проблеме свидетельства, находящейся в центре внимания современной англо-американской философии рационального действия. Главная эпистемологическая проблема свидетельства заключается в том, что огромное количество наших уверенностей и знаний происходит из свидетельств других людей, но наше принятие этих свидетельств и доверие только лишь слову свидетеля не представляется достаточным для формирования обоснованных, гарантированных уверенностей и знания.

Epistemological problem of testimony in the contemporary Anglo-American philosophy of rational action
The article is dedicated to the problem of testimony in the contemporary Anglo-American philosophy of rational action. The main epistemological problem of testimony is that an enormous number of our beliefs originate in the assertions or testimony of speakers, but our accepting or believing those assertions merely on the word of the speaker does not seem sufficient enough to form reasonable and guaranteed confidence and knowledge.
