Among viral diseases of farm animals leuke-mia, ranks first in the country. The disease is widespread in most subjects of the Russian Fed-eration. The spreading of leukemia promotes mix-ing of healthy and infected animals, as well as their joint grazing in the private sector, implemen-tation of young patient population. Not full cover-age of diagnostic studies, overexposure in a herd of infected and diseased animals adversely af-fects the epizootic situation, so unambiguous forecast; the disease will progress, covering healthy animals, increasing the number of disad-vantaged areas. It causes significant economic losses associated with the decrease in milk pro-duction, premature culling of highly productive animals, young shortfall, as well as violation of breeding. As a result of monitoring research on bovine leukemia it was found out that there was an increase of epizootic process in terms of inten-sity and extensiveness. On the background of infection bovine leukemia in animals reduced the incidence. Basing on these data, compiled zoned map of cities and of Khabarovsk, Primorsky re-gions and the Jewish Autonomous Region epizo-otic situation for leukemia were made. The dis-ease elimination needs a program of effective, science-based anti-leukemia activities, which are based on the principle of replacing the RID-positive animals in RID-negative, it is necessary to give priority to the serology diagnosis to leukemia.
