The era of global identities and social change in the sociological dimension

The authors describe the role of new interdisciplinary areas in the study of the state of society, in which psychologists, sociologists, communication specialists, anthropologists, mathematicians and statisticians combine their efforts. A huge amount of Russian and foreign literature is devoted to the issues of understanding modern society, concerning the sociological issues of globalization, post-industrial society and modernization. During the analysis of this literature, it was possible to find out that the desire to express the essence of the new information age resulted in the creation of new scientific theories and concepts. Using an extensive analysis of the literature, such new interdisciplinary areas as nanosociology, network analysis, astrosociology are considered. A new social identity is described, which directs social changes, responding to the model of equal cooperation. Relationships based on mutual respect, tolerance and multiculturalism are being formed.
