Бесплатный доступ

The Oldowan is the earliest archaeological period. Emerging as a culture around 2,6 million years ago in Eastern Africa, it spread across Africa and Eurasia. The discovery of Oldowan sites in Russia has pushed the date of the Stone Age in Russia to a much earlier period and has revised the findings from the studies related to this period. This paper contains a summary of the current state of the Oldowan studies and the level of knowledge of this tradition in the Old World providing an overview of available information.
