Aesthetic implementation of genius loci in the image of a manor

The article considers the concept of genius loci as a philosophical and aesthetic concept. Taken in the original sound, this concept is currently used in two meanings: as an independent phenomenon and as an auxiliary concept in the process of various analytical procedures. In modern researches, interest in it is usually manifested in the context of urban spaces, but the author believes that its potential cannot be exhausted by this. At different times, the image of the manor became either a story, a myth, or a metaphor, enriching itself in the process of its formation with a variety of meanings: in its special interaction with the owner and guests, the manor developed together with them and at the same time formed their way of life, i.e. it adjoined their history and made them part of its own. In this complex interaction, processes similar to the spatially-filled genius loci took place, allowing us to bring together the essence of these two concepts in order to describe within their boundaries a special experience of experiencing the manor world.
